Privacy Policy

This policy explains information processing when you use vidosha.com and the @vidosha_bot Telegram bot. We collect only what is needed to operate, protect and measure the service.

Data processed by the website

The website does not require a separate Vidosha account and does not ask for your name, phone number, payment details or access to source-platform accounts. The bot requires a Telegram account.

  • The public source link, selected quality and any clip timecodes you enter.
  • Technical request data such as IP address, access time, HTTP headers, device/platform category, interface language and error information.
  • A random signed browser-session identifier, without your name, phone number or email address.
  • Aggregated and pseudonymized audience and advertising indicators: page opens, ad requests and renders, empty auctions and error categories.

Telegram bot data

When you use @vidosha_bot, we process your Telegram ID, username when available, interface language, message and button identifiers, submitted link, selected options, job status and prepared-file metadata. These records are used to perform the job, prevent duplicates, recover after failures and display request state.

The local media copy is removed after successful delivery or operational cleanup. Telegram may independently retain messages and delivered files under its own policies. Bot database records should not be treated as anonymous, and a user-facing deletion mechanism is not currently provided.

Why this data is used

  • Create a job, return the result to its owner and restore state after a page reload.
  • Limit abuse, automated attacks and excessive concurrent requests.
  • Diagnose failures, measure capacity and improve the interface.
  • Display and measure advertising that helps keep the service free.

Cookies and browser storage

You can remove technical cookies in your browser. Without the session cookie, creating, recovering and securely delivering a file may not work correctly. Blocking third-party advertising technology does not disable the main form, but it may hide ads.

  • A secure HttpOnly session cookie associates a request only with its result and normally lasts up to 30 days.
  • A locale cookie remembers RU or EN; localStorage remembers your light or dark theme.
  • sessionStorage temporarily keeps an active-download identifier so the job can recover after a tab reload.
  • Yandex advertising technology may use its own cookies and identifiers under Yandex's policies.

Links and temporary files

The link and options travel from the Russian entry server to the processing server in the Netherlands over a private channel. The processing server requests the selected public platform, creates the result and temporarily stores the working file. Downloads are streamed through the Russian server without saving a media copy on its disk.

Completed files are deleted automatically when availability expires, or earlier after cancellation or operational cleanup. A technical job record is kept for a limited period; after expiry, the source URL, title, author, filename and media identifiers are removed from it.

Security and retention

The session uses a random signed identifier, while the IP address used for internal limits is transformed with a one-way function. Metrics do not contain raw IP addresses, full user-agent strings, links or video titles. Infrastructure access is restricted and operational logs rotate.

Information is kept only as long as needed for delivery, security, failure recovery and required operational logs. Aggregated counters without source identifiers may be kept longer to understand service performance.

Third-party services

  • Source video platforms receive a network request for the public item and apply their own terms.
  • Yandex Advertising Network processes ad-delivery data under its own privacy and cookie policies.
  • When you use @vidosha_bot, Telegram provides the bot developer with public profile data, messages, button actions and interface language as described by Telegram.
  • Hosting, networking and security providers may process technical data as needed to provide their services.

Your choices

You may choose not to submit a link, cancel active processing, clear cookies and browser storage, block third-party cookies, or use browser tracking protection. Telegram has separate controls and policies.

We may update this policy when features or providers change. A revision takes effect when published on this page; the effective date is always shown above.
